This weekend we took my family down to the City Market while they were in town. Along with row upon row of farmers with fruits and vegetables spread out in front of them, there were a number of artists and musicians displaying the fruit of their own labors, like this flute player tucked in a corner by the spice sellers. |Kansas City, MO

    • It wasn’t a surprise, not completely anyway. We’d known for about a month that they were coming, though it was surprising that my dad was able to get the time off and they were willing to make the long drive
