Monday October 8th, Twenty-Twelve

This weekend we all ventured out before Elijah’s soccer game for the University of Toledo’s homecoming parade. The streets were lined with children excited for all of the candy that is tossed out to the crowds. I would say we ended up with two grocery bags full for the boys. |Toledo, OH

Saturday morning I woke up early to bake cookies (lemon ginger crinkles – one of my favorites) for a garage sale/bake sale that some friends of ours were having to raise money for their adoptions. Later that afternoon I enjoyed a couple of the cookies with a cup of tea. |Kansas City, MO

  1. I love the colors in the tea and cookies photo and the vintage tablecloth! The cookies look delicious! So cool you could support the adoption fundraiser. –Kristina oh, and the boys LOVED the parade, they were a little scared at times of the loud band but LOVED the candy! We still have a ton 🙂
