Monday, October Twenty-ninth , Two Thousand & Twelve

We finally used the donut pan you gave us in the exchange! Kristina and Elijah made fresh pumpkin donuts hand dipped in melted butter with cinnamon and sugar crystals. It was a delicious treat to celebrate this season! |Toledo,OH

This Saturday, last minute, Derek and I went with a few friends to see Gungor in concert (you may know them as the band who wrote “Beautiful Things”). It was a really great show, with fun instruments, beautiful harmonies, and thought-provoking lyrics. |Kansas City, MO

  1. How fun to go to a last minute concert. We remember the good ol days of doing stuff like that before kids. I like Gungor too-glad you guys had a good time!

    • Yeah, even without kids yet we don’t do that type of thing often. It was fun, though!

We thought of you guys that day, too, because beforehand Derek and I went to Noodles and Company to get our free birthday bowls of noodles and remembered going there with you guys the first time in Ann Arbor before the Jason Upton concert. Do you remember that?

  2. Those donuts look so tasty! They remind me of the “french donuts” I used to make when I lived at home. They were made in a muffin pan but then after I baked them, I rolled them in butter and then cinnamon sugar. Good stuff šŸ™‚
