Some friends invited us over for dinner that we hadn’t  been able to connect with for some time. They requested that we bring a potato dish. Since i had recently bought a mandolin slicer we made homemade Au gratin potatoes  for the first time. We sauteed onions and put them between the layers with spinach and a homemade cheesy roux  it was so delicious. It was also fun connected with like minded friends too! | Toledo, OH

Saturday morning I woke up to snow covering the remains of our garden from last year (this was only our second real snowfall this winter). By the afternoon, though, most of the snow was melted and the next day was sunny with temperatures reaching the upper fifties! Welcome to winter in Kansas City |Kansas City, MO
