Monday, April Eighth, Two Thousand & Thirteen

This Monday we went on a family bike ride and came across these beautiful yellow blooms on branches. Kristina pulled a few off and but them in the vintage water picture from savers. As we got back to our street it to rain, and we both agreed that we loved the smell of rain hitting the earth in early spring. |Toledo,OH

We spent the weekend in Williamsburg, KS, for the annual Boiler Room spring retreat, a refreshing blend of sweet worship, walks in the woods, bonfires, Holy Spirit dance parties, talks with friends both old and new, and some much-needed rest. |Kansas City, MO

  1. I love those yellow flowers! I was just commenting to Derek how I loved seeing the Forsythia bushes blooming around here this week (which are also bright yellow). I especially love how the yellow branches look against the green. What room is that in? I don’t remember anything so green in your house.
